We are getting deeper and deeper into the world of fractions.  Our children are nailing it!  Miss D and I are graduating kids left, right and centre!!!!

Hi All, 

Today we worked on counting on from the biggest number and counting back from the biggest number. It was great fun and we had a lot of personal challenges.

Our children are amazing!!!  They have really taken the concept of plotting data on a stem and leaf graph and run with it!

I am so proud of how they have used their place value knowledge to work out their tens and ones so that they can plot the data accurately on their stem and leaf graph.

Statistics in motion!!

Today we had a lot of fun with our Statistics.  It was a hands on and engaging.  We were sorting data and working with tally marks.

What a tricky activity this is.  I was stumped on the property card that says what shape has only 1 corner???????

Today Mrs Mercer took a very creative lesson to point out to us how we can identify corners and planes in a 3D shape!

We used toothpicks and small play dough balls.

The class started by creating 2D shapes.  We were then asked to create a cube and pyramid with a square base.
